Field Training Exercises (FTX)
Field training exercises (FTX's) are a culmination of the skills
learned through successful completion of classroom and web-based
learning programs. They are usually conducted on weekends and may
involve a number of training objectives. It is most likely that
the unit would set up its' base of operations (BoO) and complete
a variety of training missions.
It is likely the FTX’s will combine multiple teams in the
future. We are part of Region IV, which includes
- FL, KY, TN, MS, AL, NC, SC, GA, VMAT3, DMORT4, IMSuRT-S, NMRT-E)
Trainings may also be conducted at the Noble
Training Center, Anniston Al , or in another regional team's
local area. You will need to remain flexible in order to meet
the training requirements of HHS / NDMS. We still need training
topic suggestions. E-Mail your input to John
Crowley, TO.
Each team member must have a basic understanding of the theory
and practical applications necessary to participate in a safe and
successful FTX.
