In time of need, FL-3 is deployed under the auspices of National Disaster Medical System(NDMS) and Department of Health and Human Services(DHHS). But, FL-3 is more than just another name on the long list of governmental organizations. It is more like an extended family of professionals who are drawn together to serve a common cause that effects the lives of patients and families who are caught in the grip of some severe calamity.

FL-3 members are willing to make the hard choices and personal sacrifices necessary, in the wake of National emergencies, to cope with the tragedy that surrounds such catastrophic events. The team is comprised of volunteers from all walks of life and a multitude of disciplines, both medical and non-medical. We are all proud of the work we do in the service to our Country and our fellow Americans in times of dire need.
